The story so far!
Marbella Property Services was conceived by John Shaw and Julie Paling in the autumn of 2009. Fed up and frustrated with the way real estate was being marketed, they put their heads together and looked at alternative solutions.
The result was to base the new business around the internet with the intention of keeping the running costs down to a minimum - thereby allowing them flexibility in charges to vendors trying to sell their properties and hence better value to those buying - in what is acknowledged to be a tremendously difficult financial period.
They have invested in state of the art internet engineering , search engine optimization new social networking potential and a very efficient database system allowing them to refine a clients search to a very user friendly, focused, optimized and efficient "Bespoke and Discreet" search section - cutting away the time wasting involved in the normal property finding process.
In addition, MPS have used their considerable local knowledge and network of contacts to launch a separate division specializing in INVESTMENT opportunities and are advertising their services and extensive product portfolio to investment groups in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, France, The Netherlands and Russia and the adjoining states.

Bios
Marbella Property Services were established in 2009, and our team has many years experience in property, development, construction, sales and lettings in the Costa del Sol.
John Shaw |
John arrived on the coast in 2000. He had previously worked in the UK football industry (1984 - 1993) with Chelsea FC and following that formed a software distribution and licensing company (1993 - 1999) which was successfully sold to an American NASDAQ corporation. When John arrived in Spain he consulted on several enterprises resulting in the formation of his construction company. Marbella Property Services was a logical progression into the real estate market and the combination of skills and facilities will be, as far as we know, unique to the coast. |

Julie brings to the company over 25 years experience in property sales, property investment plus interior design, and project management for both the commercial and residential sectors. Julie specialises in commissioning of contractors and sub contractors within a variety of premises from conception to completion. This includes property sales, rentals and management. Julie is a friendly, hardworking, honest individual who prides herself on excellent communication and customer service, going that extra step to ensure all her clients expectations are exceeded. |
